Intruders
by revbillcook
Of course resentment is the thing I feel,
Anger too; they should not allow them here.
These piles of rags. Ugly eyes that sow
Seeds of guilt, and of course the open hands.
The day was perfect. Sun thorough trees. The shops:
Attractive, quaint. Awnings: green and blue.
Then there she was. How dare she intrude!
I was determined not to stop.
As quickly as I could I hurried by
Then looking back I saw her unfurl wings, and fly.

wow,
what a magical ending,
see her fly,
in reality, we all share a mixture of emotions..
Glad that you take them out.
Beautifully crafted.
Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed the ending. – Bill

There are tenderness in your raged or broken heart.
writing poetry is not easy for everyone….
as you know, I have spent so much time doing celebration of birthdays, awards and so on…I feel tired at times…all sorts of thing come to me, ..in a community, one shall be considerate..
if a person expects full attention from me all the time, I will fail…
lovely poem, I see light in your words.
Thanks for the contribution!
Jingle, Know how much you and your work are appreciated. I am amazed at all you do. I am amazed that you have as much personal contact with those who blog on your memes. Don’t worry about me.

Oh, Rev. Bill, that gave me the chills. We know we are called to look beyond appearance but …angels, unaware. Thank you. Victoria

Thanks. I’m glad you stopped by. – bill
I liked this a lot, and recognize the feeling – don’t bother me, can’t you see… and then, too late, remembering my faulty eyesight, my all too human way of dismissing, judging, believing that what I think I see is all there is to know about a person or situation. Thank you.
It is so true. For all of us. thanks for taking the time to stop by and share your thoughts. – bill
So sweet one..
“As quickly as I could hurried by”

This poem gives me the sense that you have the ability to gatch glimpses behind the veil we call “reality”…beyond is the truth, the emptiness, the spirit, the jewels, the numinous, the ethereal…you’ve got it!
Thanks for offering this glimpse …
